Clicking a cite highlights the quoted words again

Clicking a citation chip opens the source at the right page with the quoted passage highlighted — including cites written with the quote in the surrounding sentence rather than inside the bracket.

Statute checks no longer flag quotes from your own documents

When a draft quoted a contract or record document near a statute reference, the checker could wrongly test those words against the statute text and flag a mismatch. Every quote now belongs to exactly one source — record quotes are never graded against statutes.

  • FixedDocumentsDesktop 0.2.109

Fresh documents say “preparing preview” instead of erroring

Opening a just-generated document before its print-ready version finishes no longer shows an error — printing falls back to the original and the viewer notes the preview is still being prepared.

  • ImprovedCitationsDesktop 0.2.108

The citation checker now understands acronym cites

A record cite like “AWS BAA” now resolves to the Business Associate Addendum in your matter file instead of flagging “no matching document.” Cites against a document's cleaned title resolve too. Ambiguous cites still refuse to guess — they ask for the exact filename.

  • FixedThreadsDesktop 0.2.108

    Interrupted threads now say so

A thread whose work was cut off (app closed mid-draft, connection lost) previously could reopen showing a working indicator that never finished. Those now settle to an honest “interrupted — send your message again” state, platform-wide.

  • ImprovedDocumentsDesktop 0.2.108

    Document processing no longer stalls

Scanned PDFs route straight to OCR instead of retrying the wrong extraction path, photo descriptions retry automatically if interrupted, and any document that does get stuck is now detected and re-driven within minutes — no more files sitting on a processing dot.

Cites are checked against what Jubal actually read

Every document Jubal generates now records which source documents were opened while writing it. The citation checker verifies cites against those sources first — and flags any cite to a document the draft never actually opened, a check no name-matching could make.

See what changed, right after you update

After the app updates, a short What’s-new panel shows exactly what improved since the version you were on — the same curated notes as the public changelog, once, then out of your way.

    Florida standard jury instructions, cite-checked

Jubal can now pull Florida’s standard jury instructions (civil and criminal — 960 sections) directly while drafting, quoting the current official text with a pinpoint cite instead of reconstructing instructions from memory.
