Draft your first filing
Ask for a motion the way you'd ask an associate. Jubal drafts it for the matter's court and opens it in the editor, where you finish it.
Ask for the filing
In the matter, ask for what you need: for example, "Draft a motion to compel the defendant's discovery responses." Jubal drafts it as a filing for the matter's court: the caption in that court's form, the title as filed, the court's margins, typeface and spacing, and a signature block awaiting counsel's name.
Ask for a set and you get one that matches itself: the motion, its supporting declaration, the proposed order and the certificate of service.
Every filing passes a check against the court's rules before you see it. A paper that breaks them is rebuilt, never handed over.
Edit it in Jubal
The draft opens on the Drafts tab as the court's own page. Click into it and edit. Save Doc writes a new version; History keeps every one, and any of them can be restored. Everyone on the matter can edit the same draft live.

Where Jubal's rules for a court aren't complete yet, the filing still opens with a notice: what's missing, and what Jubal used in its place. Confirm those before you file. If you know the rule, send it to us from the notice.
Check the citations
Drafts with authorities carry a citations panel: record cites checked against your documents, legal cites against the primary sources, quotes against the text. Anything Jubal couldn't support is a visible [AUTHORITY NEEDED] placeholder, never an invented cite.

Download it
Use Download for the Word file, or Download as PDF for the same layout as a PDF. If the court takes papers only as Word, Jubal tells you before you download the PDF.
Jubal never files or sends anything. The filing is yours to sign and file.
